When it's just starting to get a little chilly, and a cut-and-sew top or a thin knit alone leaves you worried about the morning and evening cold, but it's not quite cold enough for a coat.

When the cold really sets in and you want one more layer between a thin knit and your coat.

When you spend long stretches indoors and don't quite need to reach for a thick knit.

"Temperature adjustment" is something we all struggle with in everyday life. Especially from here on, it only gets trickier.

For just this kind of season, we're introducing a wool long knit vest that excels at layering.

The key design point is its relaxed silhouette—both the length and the body width are generous, making it easy to layer over shirts, cut-and-sew tops, dresses, or long skirts. It's designed to pair easily with voluminous bottoms like wide pants or pleated skirts.

The length is long enough to fully cover the hips even on someone in the 160cm height range. We adjusted the length so it pairs easily with long skirts and pants as well.

The neckline is opened just slightly wider at the sides, so it layers easily over all kinds of necklines, while still keeping just the right amount of openness so it never looks sloppy.

The material is extra fine wool, a luxury knitting yarn that's both light and supple. Because this wool yarn is knit into loops with almost no twist, it has volume yet feels light, as if it holds air inside, giving it a gentle touch with no hard core to the yarn. The texture is a bit rough-and-ready—more casual wool knit than elegant. It looks like a thick knit despite being light, which makes it perfect for layering.
