"Hmm…? Something seems harder to see than before…."
The text on your phone looks blurry, the menu is hard to read in a dimly lit restaurant, and you can no longer read in bed before sleep without a desk lamp. Have you started noticing that things you used to see clearly without a second thought are becoming harder to see?
This is an SOS signal from the gradual changes your eyes undergo starting in your 40s. Even if you're vaguely aware of it, many people put off doing anything about it, held back by the old-fashioned image of reading glasses or the thought, "I don't need them all the time."
Buying glasses at a specialty shop takes both time and money. That may be another reason it's hard to take the first step.
That's why we'd like to introduce "Have A Look," a stylish and easy-to-use new eyewear brand that reinvents the inconvenience, hassle of purchasing, and old image of "reading glasses" altogether.
With a wide range of designs that can be worn casually from the early stages of presbyopia, they've become a stylish accessory that adults can enjoy as a true fashion item. This time, we'll introduce the appeal of Have A Look.
Some people may feel a bit of resistance to the word "presbyopia." But the change in vision that begins around your 40s is a natural experience everyone goes through. It's nothing out of the ordinary at all.
Reading glasses are a partner that helps with the difficulties caused by this change in your eyes. Unlike a simple magnifying glass, they have a uniform lens power across the entire surface, allowing you to enjoy reading and close-up work with a natural field of view.
My own mother recently told me that her presbyopia has progressed and she's having trouble seeing things up close. The first time I saw her wearing reading glasses, I felt a slight pang of sadness, as if she had suddenly grown older.
Her words, "There just aren't many good options out there," conveyed both the inconvenience of not being able to see well and her frustration with the lack of choices.
So, as her daughter, I began searching for reading glasses and came across Have A Look. It was an unexpected discovery, born from a positive way of thinking found overseas.
Without the heaviness or stiffness typical of conventional reading glasses, my mother was delighted, saying, "With these, I can enjoy my reading and needlework hobbies even more while still looking stylish." Her comment, "There are so many kinds, it's fun just choosing one," made me truly glad I had found them for her.
"Reading glasses you can wear confidently and enjoy, no matter your age."
In 2015, Danish designers Mette and Christina founded Have A Look with this very idea in mind. Realizing there were no reading glasses they themselves genuinely wanted to use, they created a brand that combines both practicality and design.
What sets Have A Look apart is, above all, its rich variety of styles. At ZUTTO, we offer four frame designs.
Top: Grey, Middle: Nature, Bottom: Tortoise rose
✅ A chic, understated impression
✅ Reading glasses with blue light blocking (excluding Nature)
✅ A gentle-looking frame that suits both men's and women's faces
This oversized Boston-style frame is recommended for those who prefer a chic, understated look. It's an easy-to-wear frame regardless of age or gender. The slight upward angle toward the temples creates an expression that's both soft and subtly sharp.
✅ It may look distinctive, but wearing it puts you in a bright mood — the brand's most popular style.
✅ Reading glasses with blue light blocking
✅ Smaller lenses and a thicker frame than the Circle type
At first glance it may seem bold and eye-catching, but this compact oval frame has a softness thanks to its rounded shape. What looks distinctive on the shelf somehow fits naturally once worn — perhaps thanks to its Scandinavian color palette. It's a frame design best enjoyed by those who like to collect several pairs of reading glasses.
✅ The cat-eye shape has real presence and makes a great style statement
✅ Reading glasses with blue light blocking
✅ Wide enough to sit well-balanced on the face
A model characterized by its bold, wide frame with a strong presence. Recommended for those who love fashion and want to enjoy styling with their glasses as the main feature. Even with a simple outfit, adding these glasses can create a stylish atmosphere.
✅Easy-to-wear colors and designs
✅Reading glasses with blue light cut functionality
✅A relaxed, effortlessly stylish look for grown-ups
A design with an elegant feel, perfect as an accent to your outfit. The distinctive frame design adds a fresh appeal to your everyday styling.
Have A Look isn't just about style — the brand's careful selection of materials, prioritizing comfort and functionality as a practical everyday item, is another reason it becomes a trusted daily companion.
① Frame: durable polycarbonate material
Lightweight, with impact resistance far superior to other materials, and excellent heat and cold resistance.
② Side hinges: spring-loaded flex hinges
A comfortable fit that reduces the feeling of pressure. The spring built into the hinges reduces excessive outward flexing, minimizing the tendency for the glasses to slip down while worn, keeping them comfortable to wear for longer.
③ Metal parts: nickel-free material
Since it contains no nickel, which can easily cause metal allergies, even those with sensitive skin can use it with peace of mind.
④ Lenses: aspheric acrylic lenses
Made from durable acrylic material, the lens surface is designed to be flatter and thinner. It also reduces distortion around the edges, providing a clearer and more comfortable field of view, and minimizing distortion of your facial outline when seen through the lens. A welcome bonus is that it also reduces the effect of your eyes appearing smaller.
From morning reading time to desk work at the office, and making the most of your hobby time, reading glasses make every little moment of daily life more comfortable. We also recommend using them together with a glass holder. Since it can be worn around your neck, it solves that "wait, where did I put them?" moment.

For first-time users, we recommend starting with a gentle strength of +1.0. This is a mild enough strength to make close-up vision just slightly easier to see, so it puts less strain on your eyes and is easy to start using naturally. Choose your strength according to your intended use, whether reading, sewing, or using your smartphone. If you'd like to know your exact prescription, we also recommend getting an eye exam at an ophthalmologist's office.
▼The ages given in parentheses are only a general guide. These strengths are mainly suited to improving visibility at a distance of around 30cm, such as when using a smartphone. Please use the following as a reference guide.
A little care goes a long way in keeping your favorite reading glasses in good shape for years to come. After use, gently wipe them with the dedicated soft cloth. If you use a lens cleaner, be sure to choose one made specifically for this purpose. When carrying them around, keep them safe in the included dedicated case — with this kind of care, reading glasses, which tend to be treated as consumables, can be enjoyed for a long time.
The time spent getting ready in the morning. Choosing your clothes, coordinating your accessories, and finally picking up your reading glasses. This kind of morning ritual, I think, is one of the new pleasures that come with growing older.
While cherishing who you truly are, please try incorporating Have A Look reading glasses into your everyday coordination.
