This combination matches the white and gold of the watch and bracelet,

creating a cohesive look through color coordination.

Though the watch face is compact, the double-layered strap adds just the right amount

of volume.

hanamokko is a wristwatch that features "iwa-enogu" (mineral pigment used in traditional Japanese painting) on its dial.

Born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, each watch is assembled by hand, starting from coloring the hand-made washi paper

dial one piece at a time by a craftsperson.

This particular color uses iwa-enogu made by crushing natural quartz crystal.

The quartz-colored dial paired with a navy leather strap creates an authentic combination.  

The bracelet is from FALBE, a beaded accessory brand.

It's made using Japanese-made "seed beads" — glass beads as small as seeds,

1.5mm in diameter, that shine as light passes through them.

Woven with a crochet hook using about 1,000 beautifully uniform beads,

this bracelet has none of the childishness one might associate with the word "beads,"

making it truly a piece for adults.

This combination, imagined with a business-like feel in mind,

The "Kasane" series was born from "kasane no irome," the layered color combinations

seen in the sleeve openings of Heian-period court robes, expressing playful color on the watch dial.

People in ancient times wore robes with different colors on the outer and inner layers,

enjoying these color combinations according to the season.

In hanamokko's "Kasane," too,

that long-held Japanese spirit of enjoying color seems to live on.

The Yoshino colorway is dyed in soft pink hues, reminiscent of the flowers that bloom in the Yoshino region.  

HARIO Lampwork Factory is a glass accessory brand

from HARIO, a long-established glassmaker.

Two lines of glass are woven into a two-strand braid,

creating the naturally styled Bracelet Futatsu-ami.

The design, in which the lines appear to connect and overlap,

lets you enjoy the curved beauty unique to glass that's been melted and shaped by heat.

Making bracelets that emerge like ame-zaiku (Japanese candy art) is

truly a race against time. This is a piece that lets you feel the delicate handwork of its maker.

Even though the metal fittings differ in color, they're brought together with brown leather.

Once leather comes into play, the look instantly becomes more mature.

Both the face and the strap are on the slender side, so not only the colors

but the overall silhouette also comes together with a feminine finish. 

The watch was designed by Riki Watanabe, one of Japan's leading product designers.

It was created based on the image of the dial and shape of his

signature work, the "Small Wall Clock."

The combination of a thick stainless steel case with a cowhide strap that

develops more character the more it's used gives an elegant impression.

A defining feature is the three-dimensional index integrated with the dial face,

creating beautiful, embossed-looking shadows.

This bracelet, featuring pewter (tin) decoration on leather, is

a traditional craft that has been passed down among the Sami people of

Northern Europe since as far back as the 16th century.

The design catches the eye with its combination of contrasting materials,

but the key point is that every material used

can be enjoyed as it changes with age.

The reindeer leather becomes softer and more supple over time,

the pewter embroidery takes on a more relaxed form,

and the reindeer antler used for the clasp gains more luster,

We chose a thicker watch and a thicker bangle,

making for a combination with strong presence.

On their own, each piece has a formal air,

but combining them to add volume

gives them appeal that also works for casual styling. 

BRAUN watches are highly readable and simple.

This watch clearly embodies the brand's design concept of

"Less, but better."

The black mesh strap gives a masculine impression,

and it looks sharp even paired with a white T-shirt. 

The bangle paired with it is from KISSO.

It's made from a plant-based resin called cellulose acetate,

which is widely used in eyeglass frames.

Being a plant fiber, it's gentle on the skin and rarely causes allergies,

and it's nice that it feels warm even worn directly against the skin.

This piece, with white paint that looks brushed onto a black base,

has a lovely design whose color impression shifts depending on the viewing angle.

Even alone it has strong presence, so it's recommended as a fashion accent.

wearing them on separate wrists disperses both the visual weight and

We chose a silver bangle to match the silver frame of the watch.

Even when worn on separate wrists, the shared silver tone creates unity rather than a mismatched look.

With a leather strap, sweat can cause staining, so

after use, wipe the whole thing with a dry cloth and let it dry in a well-ventilated spot.

Leather is especially averse to moisture, so it's important to let the strap rest.

◼︎ Caring for a Stainless Steel Strap

A stainless steel strap can be prone to rust and skin irritation, so

just as with leather straps, simply wiping away sweat and moisture with a soft cloth

will make a real difference in the lifespan of the watch's case back, band, and gasket.

For dirt trapped in the gaps of the band, regularly remove it with

a toothbrush or cotton swab.

To prevent the crown from rusting, periodically

turn the crown freely (without winding).

◼︎Notes on Storage Location

Since a watch is a precision instrument, care must also be taken with where you store it.

・Avoid high temperature and humidity

Please avoid leaving the watch for long periods of time in places exposed to

direct sunlight, such as on a car dashboard.

・Avoid keeping it near AV equipment

Also avoid storing the watch near AV equipment or other places

that generate magnetism. If the internal movement becomes magnetized,

it can cause malfunctions. 

◼︎Silver

Silver can become tarnished and turn black if left unused

for a while. When sulfur vapor or similar substances are present in the air,

the silver reacts with them to form a compound called sulfide,

which is the cause of the blackening.

The best way to maintain silver is to polish it frequently.

Please use a soft cloth, or a silver polish or

cleaning cloth designed for silver.

Because it has been specially treated, it is fine even if it gets wet,

but to ensure long-lasting use, please avoid wearing it while bathing or in

situations where it will be exposed to water or sweat for extended periods.

If it does get wet, gently wipe it with a soft cloth.

Since glass beads are used, please note that they may

break if subjected to a strong impact.

If they get wet, promptly and carefully wipe them dry with a dry cloth.

If they do get wet, some beads or metal fittings may discolor or lose their coating.
