Since its establishment in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1892, Asahi is the shoe brand of Asahi Shoes, a shoe manufacturer that has supported Japanese shoe culture for over 120 years. Established its own factory by expanding the company while incorporating the introduction of electric motors and integrated production from cotton. In-house production from rubber is said to have led to the current production of shoes. Asahi is a separate line that wants to offer more shoes that can be worn by both men and women, such as deck shoes and slip-ons made by Asahi shoes.
