Aparaya is a knitwear brand founded in 2002 by a couple from South America who moved to the UK. Their workshop is located in Diggle village, Saddleworth, in the heart of the Pennine Mountains in England. This region has a tradition of textile manufacturing that spans over 300 years. Using high-quality yarn spun locally, they meticulously handle every step of the process themselves in a family-run workshop outside Birmingham. Because it's a small factory, they are able to dedicate themselves to each individual garment, choosing only designs that can be made and loved for a long time. While cherishing traditional techniques, they use 100% natural wool, supporting local farmers and utilizing one of the most sustainable fibers available. Their long-selling sweaters, which have been loved for years, are a testament to their pride in creating sustainable and enduring products.
