Based in Los Angeles, USA, Mixta was founded by two people with many years of experience in the American vintage clothing industry. Based on the belief that "the true joy of American casual style is printed T-shirts, and their origins lie in America," the brand began producing printed T-shirts in 2010. The brand name is a coined word used by American vintage clothing dealers, meaning "mixed up." The name was born from the idea that America is a land of diverse races and cultures, and that the diverse essences of vintage clothing coexist.
All processes, from yarn production to dyeing, design, plate making, and printing, are carried out entirely in-house at their own factory in the USA, embodying the highest standards of manufacturing.
