A brand born from the other side of "paradise"

Ocean Bottle is a brand born from the vision of former fisherman Will Pearson, who witnessed the ocean near a resort in the Maldives overwhelmed with garbage. After conducting extensive research on marine pollution, he co-founded Ocean Bottle with Nick Doman, whom he met in business school. The brand's mission is to "connect people and protect the ocean through business."

The product's design has also received high acclaim, winning awards such as the Red Dot Design Award 2020 and the Green Product Award 2020. Additionally, it has obtained the international certification "B Corp Certification," which is awarded to companies that prioritize environmental and social considerations. For every bottle purchased, approximately 11.4 kg of plastic—equivalent to about 1,000 PET bottles—that would have flowed into the ocean is collected. The recovered plastic is bought at a high price locally, providing income for collectors and contributing to healthcare and education, with all activities being fully transparent.
