The "BANKERS" watch is based on the rare original clock, one of only two in existence, that Jacobsen designed while working on the "Danish National Bank," which is considered one of his greatest masterpieces in his later years. This design was created with a total design approach, alongside furniture and faucet fixtures. It is also one of the pieces that ROSENDAHL and the Jacobsen family were most particular about during its supervision. The seemingly elongated index is composed of 12 blocks, elegantly spiraling to graphically display the time, representing the continuous flow of time.

“land puzzle”

The textile chosen for the strap is mina perhonen's "land puzzle." This fabric requires advanced techniques to produce, and is carefully handcrafted by a few skilled artisans in Japan using jacquard corduroy. The three-dimensional patterns of the corduroy are collaged like a puzzle, creating a landscape reminiscent of a view from above, evoking the essence of mountains, rivers flowing between them, and the undulations of the earth. The textile is woven randomly, with each piece having a unique pattern, making this watch feel like a one-of-a-kind treasure.
