VIKING, founded in 1920 in Norway, is one of the oldest brands in Norway. Since its founding, the company has focused on rubber development from an early stage, producing a rubber product called "galoshes" that is highly waterproof. Due to its long history, it has a deep connection to the industrial history of Norway, and has developed a wide range of rubber products, including tires for cars and bicycles, rubber flooring, hot water bottles, and school bags. By the 1930s, the company had grown to become the largest factory in Norway.

As times changed and trends changed, the company began to focus on manufacturing shoes, taking advantage of its experience in producing many products.
