The beer brewers participated in the design process, meticulously creating glasses specifically for enjoying authentic beer. The designs and shapes of the glasses vary depending on the type of craft beer, ensuring careful attention to aroma, flavor, and foam, making it enjoyable to choose from your favorite beer styles.

Special Year Glasses

The Holmegaard×Mikkeller beer glasses feature special designs created for each season. Since its inception, Mikkeller has captivated beer enthusiasts not only in Denmark but around the world as a pioneer of craft beer, producing a variety of styles and flavors. One reason for its popularity is the cute and playful visuals created by American artist Keith Shore. Unlike plain beer glass sets, the Year Glasses are adorned with fun seasonal images of Mikkeller's characters, Henry and Sally.

The 2026 SUMMER glass is based on a classic pub glass design for lagers and pilsners. To achieve a beautifully frothy pour, the glass features a slightly flared cylindrical shape. Designed to stack like authentic pub glasses, it showcases a fun pattern that resembles floating in a pool with a lifebuoy.

The History of HOLMEGAARD

Founded in 1823, HOLMEGAARD began when Queen Henriette requested the production of clear glass tumblers, leading to the creation of transparent glass tumblers and wine glasses in collaboration with Bohemian glass artisans. Since then, many artists have contributed to HOLMEGAARD's work, which has become a royal warrant holder due to its high quality, and it remains a place where Denmark's prominent artists have left their mark.

Artistic Glass Products

HOLMEGAARD is a royal warrant brand that continues the traditional art of glassblowing while producing high-quality, artistic glass products. Each piece features the royal warrant mark, and blown glass products crafted by skilled artisans bear the logo of a crowned swan.
