The background to the brand's establishment was the closure of the factory of the long-established British brand "WHITEHOUSE COX". After the brand, known for over 140 years as a prestigious British leather goods manufacturer, closed its doors due to a lack of a successor, the core craftsmen reunited and launched BEORMA, inheriting the techniques and spirit of the brand.

Founder Alex Simpson's strong desire to "keep the light of British manufacturing alive" led to the establishment of his own workshop in Walsall, a town of leather craftsmen. Using the same manufacturing methods, equipment, and hands of the same craftsmen, the brand produces products with careful handcrafting, from cutting the leather to sewing. The brand name "BEORMA" comes from the name of a small village that became the origin of Birmingham around the 3rd century, and is imbued with respect for the region and traditions.

The leather used is vegetable tanned leather sourced from the world's leading tanneries. Bridle leather is the most representative of these. It is a material that combines the robustness used in horse tack with beautiful aging, and continues to fascinate leather lovers.
