Polish couple Aleksandra and Roman purchased a machine with their wedding gift and, drawing on their family traditions, began manufacturing a variety of products using sheep fleece. ALWERO began by making shoe insoles from wool and selling them at the market. Wool products made in Poland, where temperatures can drop to -30°C in the middle of winter, are exceptionally warm and have excellent heat retention properties. In 2001, they received the "Rehabilitation Products" certification, meeting many of the standard requirements for medical products, and also produce products for health protection purposes. The wool is cut using a special method to minimize the characteristic prickly feel of wool, resulting in a soft and gentle feel against the skin. Furthermore, natural wool is woven into the mesh fabric to prevent stuffiness and ensure comfortable wear. With a PhD in kinesiology and a director of the World Biological Society on the production team, the company is committed to developing even better products, and is currently expanding its business primarily in Europe, North and South America, as well as Japan and parts of Asia.
