Introducing the newly accessible triangular scarf. Adorned with abundant, delicate, and colorful fringes, this scarf effortlessly adds a touch of sophisticated flair to your styling.
When spread out, the design is vibrant, and when folded and wrapped, it becomes subtly chic. I believe this duality is what makes scarves so wonderful. The MANTERO scarf showcases the charm of scarves that can elevate your style with just one wrap. Simply draping it over your shoulders or around your neck provides warmth and UV protection while also leaving a striking impression from behind. This versatile scarf enhances even the most subdued outfits by adding a pop of color at the neckline, creating a more vibrant look around your face. The "scarf styling" is particularly useful during seasonal transitions with significant temperature changes, making it a smart choice that combines practicality and fashion.
Experience Rich Colors
The wide range of styling options is supported by the unique texture of silk. This scarf, made from silk, boasts excellent moisture absorption and release properties, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. The crêpe satin fabric is woven using alternating strong twisted yarns, creating a textured surface that offers a smooth touch, making it especially recommended for spring and summer. Not only is it stylish around the neck, but it also serves as a versatile accessory for bags or hair. It makes a delightful birthday gift for a loved one or a thoughtful Mother's Day present.
The Legacy of Excellence
In 1902, founder Riccardo Mantero opened a small shop in the silk-producing region of Como, specializing in silk products. This marked the beginning of "MANTERO," one of Italy's oldest tie and scarf manufacturers. With the abundant water resources of Lake Como, the quality of their products is renowned, and they have a rich history of producing prints and scarves for major European fashion houses.
With over a century of history, MANTERO holds an archive of scarves from collections of Paris and Milan's maison brands. Their silk dyeing techniques are world-class, attracting many fashion designers who visit MANTERO's factory to learn from its storied legacy, making it a place akin to a museum. From yarn to woven fabric to finished products, every step is produced in-house with rigorous visual inspections at each stage, ensuring meticulous quality control in an impressively clean environment. Employing over 300 staff and more than 100 designers, MANTERO contributes to the local economy and operates a large-scale factory that produces scarves for global maison brands.
With over 60,000 designs created, MANTERO's technology allows for up to 36 colors in silk screen printing, surpassing the typical limit of 12 colors. Their scarves feature beautifully finished reverse sides that defy expectations. The rolled edges are of a perfect thickness and are hand-stitched, minimizing the risk of fraying, which reflects MANTERO's commitment to high quality.
