The bag's body is crafted from shrink nylon, reminiscent of vintage military nylon from the 1980s. Woven using taslan-processed yarn, the fabric is salt-shrunk to achieve the softness of cotton and the lightweight feel of nylon. The natural texture of the surface reflects light softly, creating a sense of depth from any angle. It's also slightly water-repellent, making it perfect for everyday rain showers.

The wide, one-shoulder strap reduces strain on the shoulder and makes it extremely comfortable to carry. The high opening obscures contents for a secure fit. Bringing Beliefs Cultivated in France to Bags

MARVELETS founder and creator, Hideji Mitsuda, was influenced by his mother, a couture designer, and worked as a fashion designer in Paris, France. During that time, he happened to visit a bag factory run by a senior designer, and was struck by the charm of leather and the fascinating craftsmanship that led him to start MARVELETS. While clothing typically requires the efforts of many people to complete a bag, the appeal of bags lies in the fact that they can be dyed to the desired color and handmade almost entirely by one person. Captivated by this, Mitsuda moved to Okayama Prefecture, where he could devote himself more to bag crafting, and started MARVELETS.

"Things that deepen in value over time," "Things that fade and become even more beloved"—these are Mitsuda's manufacturing concepts. Europeans know that the more they use and cherish things, the more their value increases. Influenced by this European culture, the bags designed by Mitsuda reflect a timeless yet unique sensibility.

Mitsuda is responsible for all of the pattern making, sewing, dyeing, and finishing of MARVELETS bags, with all key aspects being done by hand. He is also committed to using natural materials and vegetable tanning, which allow the natural power of nature to shine through over time, and combines leather, linen, wool, and other materials with finishing techniques created using original recipes. This exquisite combination of sensibility and skill, nurtured over many years, produces bags with a unique texture and antique feel that is unique to MARVELETS.
