SILK by ADAN is a new brand launched in 2023, but it is based on Amami's 30-year-old silk cosmetics technology. It all began when brand owner Tsuruta was captivated by the benefits of silk cosmetics he encountered on Amami Oshima. The brand was launched with the desire to "spread the benefits of silk."

The president of Adan, the manufacturer, is also a physician specializing in skin research, providing scientific backing for the empirical benefits of silk. By raising silkworms in-house, we are able to thoroughly control the quality of our products and develop cosmetics that contain high-purity silk. Our manufacturing process does not use surfactants, which also contributes to achieving the SDGs by producing products that do not emit pollutants.
