After that, the pieces are sewn together and finished with natural Okinawan starch paste. By avoiding pressure on each fiber, the cross-section of the fibers remains nearly circular, creating beautiful fibers that form a three-dimensional air layer. Thanks to this air layer, the fabric's absorbency and breathability are enhanced, resulting in a soft and fluffy texture.
