This gentle process removes oils produced when spinning yarn in a relaxed state and impurities from weaving the cotton fabric, resulting in a skin-friendly fabric.

After sewing, the fabric is finished with a natural starch paste made from Okinawan starch. This process avoids compressing or stressing individual fibers, resulting in a beautiful, nearly perfectly circular fiber cross-section that creates a three-dimensional air layer. This air layer enhances absorbency and breathability, giving the fabric a soft, fluffy texture. No conventional fabric softeners or chemical dyes are used, making it safe for babies, the elderly, and those with sensitive skin.
