On longer journeys, travelers often struggle with how to separate clean clothes, worn clothes, and daily essentials. The 45L SEG Hybrid Travel Pack features five segmented pockets on the front, allowing you to organize your belongings by type or day. With its 2-Way design, you can carry it as a backpack or a duffel, giving you the flexibility to choose how to carry it based on the situation.

Details Designed for Travel

A standout feature of the 45L SEG Hybrid Travel Pack is its five independent segmented zippered pockets on the front. You can store clothing and gear by category or by day, making it easy to access exactly what you need by simply opening the appropriate pocket from the outside. The main storage compartment opens wide in a clamshell design, similar to a suitcase, allowing you to pack bulky clothes and gear together or separate worn clothes as needed, adapting to your travel style. Additionally, it includes a separate large padded sleeve that securely protects laptops up to 16 inches, making it easy to extract your device during inspections.

You can carry it as either a backpack or a duffel bag. When using it as a backpack, the shoulder straps can be tucked away, and when carrying it as a duffel, you can switch to the detachable dedicated strap. Grab handles are strategically placed on the top, bottom, and sides, allowing for smooth lifting from any angle. The pass-through feature lets you secure it to a wheeled suitcase handle, and the removable waist belt helps reduce strain on your body during long journeys with heavy loads.

For security, it features a hidden pocket for a smart tag to prevent loss. A security loop along the zipper rail allows you to thread the zipper pull through it, ensuring that it won't accidentally open in crowded places.

The fabric is made from 420D recycled nylon with a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment. The zippers are weather-resistant, allowing you to move actively without worrying about the weather during your travels. With easy organization, versatile carrying options, and security features, this travel bag is designed to adapt to various scenarios, whether packing, moving, or carrying on-site during long trips or expeditions.

Design Born from Nature

Matador, founded in 2014 in Boulder, Colorado, was inspired by founder Chris Clearman's experience of seeing people sitting on their jackets and thick blankets on the dewy grass in a San Francisco park. He thought that if there were a compact, packable mat that could be taken anywhere, people could relax more easily. This led him to start making blankets in his garage, resulting in a waterproof blanket that fits into a pocket.

Leveraging his experience as a product designer, he began creating travel and outdoor items he loved, and Matador has grown into a brand known for ultra-lightweight travel gear. Through his extensive travel experiences, Chris understands the importance of reliable travel gear and focuses on durability for long-term use. He continually strives to design long-lasting products, testing them in the natural environments of Boulder, including mountains and rivers.
