A Chance Encounter That Started It All

Founded in 1990 in Pennsylvania, dansko began when the founder, a horse trainer, discovered clogs at a small shoe shop while visiting Denmark to buy horses. Later, he would travel to Denmark to bring shoes back for friends, loading them into his car and selling them at horse shows.
