The gores on both sides expand to accommodate the movement of your foot, making it easy to slip your feet in without tying laces, and ensuring a smooth removal process. While maintaining the sleek silhouette typical of Chelsea boots, the design minimizes any burden during actual wear and removal.

The upper is crafted from leather treated with 3M Scotchgard™ for waterproofing and stain resistance. This treatment prevents water splashes and everyday dirt from penetrating, allowing you to wear them freely on rainy days. Despite the treatment, the leather retains its natural, refined appearance, and the boots develop a comfortable fit as you wear them.

The footbed features three layers: arch support for the midfoot, cushioning to absorb shock, and a structure that stabilizes the heel, reducing strain on your feet even after long walks. Additionally, the outsole is made from durable and grippy Vibram® rubber, ensuring slip resistance on wet surfaces. With odor-resistant treatment to keep unwanted smells at bay and a sock-like comfort, the PAMI short boots are a reliable choice for extended wear.

A Journey That Began by Chance

Dansko was founded in 1990 in Pennsylvania, USA. The story began when the founder, a horse trainer, discovered clogs at a small shoe shop while visiting Denmark to buy horses. He fell in love with the comfortable fit of those clogs, making them his favorite footwear for all occasions. Subsequently, he would travel to Denmark, bringing shoes back for friends, and began selling them at horse shows. Inspired by these clogs, he dedicated 20 years to improving the design and eventually established the company under the name Dansko (meaning "Danish shoe").

Dansko shoes are designed to reduce strain on the feet and back, making them ideal for everyday wear as well as for use in medical settings and restaurants, where functionality and style are highly valued. They have been recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association as "easy-to-wear shoes" that support foot health.
