Founded in 2007, C.T.plage embodies the concept of "knits that are casual yet have a presence." Their simple designs are easy to wear in everyday life, while adding unique nuances to the silhouettes. The knits are crafted with consideration for ease of care, allowing for as much hand washing as possible from the yarn stage, resulting in exceptionally soft fabrics. Designers Naomi Suwa and Mikako Kanaya, both of whom have been involved in planning within the Japanese knit industry for many years, express, "When I wanted to work on shaping the garments themselves, becoming a knit designer allowed me to select materials and yarns for planning. The process of turning a single thread into a product is incredibly enjoyable, as one's thoughts manifest in the product. Even a seemingly ordinary shape can take form simply by changing awareness and perspective, which is the essence of knit planning.
