On weekdays, my belongings inevitably become larger due to commuting. That's why on weekends or outings, I want to go out lightly with just the essentials. However, I can't part with a drink to quench my thirst, and in places where food and beverages aren't allowed, I find myself wishing for a little extra space to tuck things away. I also need some room for the extra items I might pick up while I'm out. I had been searching for a bag that could accommodate these little whims for a long time, but I rarely came across something that felt "just right." That's when I decided to create the Daily Boston.

Compact in Appearance, Powerful in Storage

Though it has a small Boston shape measuring 34cm in width and 17cm in height, it boasts a generous depth of 12cm. A 500ml water bottle, a long wallet, and a mini pouch fit comfortably inside, making it perfect for a day out. The open pocket on the back is designed for easy access to small items you want to grab quickly. It's so convenient that you'll want to make it the designated spot for your smartphone. The interior is lined with bright red fabric, creating a vibrant contrast to the black exterior. Since black and small items can be hard to find in a bag, I chose a vivid red for practicality. Inside, there are both open and zippered pockets, allowing you to organize small items like keys by type. The zipper features a pull tab, making it easy to open and close with one hand. Weighing approximately 396g, it is lightweight and easy to carry for a leather bag.

Leather Tanned in Hyogo Prefecture

The material is cowhide tanned in Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture. From the very beginning, it offers a soft and moist texture. While soft leather might be perceived as weak, experts from the region explain that durability is determined not by the appearance of hardness but by how well it has been tanned and how tightly packed the fibers are. The characteristic of Japanese leather is its consistency. I felt reassured by the meticulous craftsmanship that allows for the same product to be beautifully finished time and again. Everything, from the material to the stitching, is made in Japan.

After introducing countless bags over the years, I carefully revisited shapes that have been loved across generations. I layered in ZUTTO's signature usability and subtle details that elevate your mood when worn.
