VIKING's Her collection is a sneaker specifically designed for women's feet. Based on over 200,000 foot shape data, a dedicated last was created, and after undergoing a practical test where 100 women wore them for a total of 20,000 km, the sneaker was completed. These waterproof sneakers feature a GORE-TEX® membrane that excels in waterproof breathability and a motion control structure that supports stability, making them the perfect choice for women who want to wear them every day, regardless of the weather.

One of the common sources of fatigue felt while walking is the inward rolling of the ankle. This tendency is particularly pronounced in women's feet and can lead to discomfort in the heels and ankles after long periods of walking. The motion control structure incorporated in these sneakers is designed to physically suppress that movement. The midsole employs a dual-density structure with two layers of EVA of varying hardness, creating different rebound effects on the inside and outside of the foot, ensuring that the foot returns to a stable position with each landing. The TPU heel counter at the back supports this movement, minimizing instability with every step. The outsole is made of rubber material, providing a firm grip on various surfaces, whether asphalt or cobblestones.

The GORE-TEX® membrane, functioning through a film layer placed on the inside of the upper, prevents water from entering while allowing vapor from inside the shoe to escape, maintaining a comfortable environment even on rainy days. This model features a PFAS-free specification, utilizing a waterproof treatment that does not rely on fluorinated compounds.

Instead of traditional shoelaces, it adopts a Boa system, allowing for easy adjustment of tightness with just a turn of a dial. It can be easily operated even while wearing gloves in winter, facilitating smooth on-and-off. Founded in 1920 in Norway, VIKING is one of the oldest brands in the country. From the early stages of its establishment, the company focused on rubber development, creating waterproof rubber products known as "galoshes." With its long history, it has deep ties to Norway's industrial history, developing a wide range of rubber products including tires for cars and bicycles, rubber flooring, hot water bottles, and school bags. By the 1930s, it had grown to become the company with the largest factory in Norway.

As times changed and trends evolved, VIKING leveraged its extensive experience in producing a variety of products to focus on shoe manufacturing. The ski boots developed in the 1940s gained popularity, capturing the hearts of many with their features of being "warm and comfortable," having "non-slip soles and excellent fit," and providing a soft feel without lubrication even in harsh cold.

Since then, VIKING boots have spread across various industries, including the well-known "Chulox" rubber boots familiar throughout Scandinavia, hiking boots highly praised by the trekking association, and soccer shoes loved by players. In the late 1990s, when few shoe manufacturers were using GORE-TEX in their products, VIKING adopted GORE-TEX for its hunting boots "Krossa."
