However, ZUTTO has crafted an easy skirt made from round-knit corduroy that defies that image with its lightness and stretchability. The fully elastic waistband allows for smooth on-and-off wear, and while it doesn't have the tightness of a pencil skirt, the straight silhouette that falls along the legs beautifully enhances the vertical line.

Lightweight and Stretchy Corduroy

Traditionally, corduroy is a fabric that has its weft yarns cut to create a raised texture. The material used in this piece is a round-knit fabric that expresses the unique ridges characteristic of corduroy. With the added stretch not found in woven fabrics, it allows for unrestricted movement, making it comfortable to wear without any tightness. It features a unique sheen similar to velvet, resulting in an elegant corduroy skirt that pairs well with both casual and dressy outfits. Additionally, due to the nature of corduroy, white chalk-like marks can easily appear during wear, but these can be improved by applying steam. It is recommended to lightly steam the surface with a steam iron before any concerns arise.
