The PIXEL POUCH BAG is characterized by the expressive surface that utilizes the texture of the knit. The square grid pattern appears three-dimensional due to the varying heights of the stitches, and when you hold it, you can feel the texture with your fingertips. The bag closes with a drawstring, allowing you to easily access the contents without the need to unzip it like a traditional zipper bag.

Originally, the founder, Mr. Uotani, was involved in the development of knit fabrics for socks, but his desire to incorporate knits into daily life grew, leading him to further research knitting techniques and designs. This passion for creating original items ultimately led to the establishment of the brand.

TRICOTE offers vibrant items infused with the possibilities that emerge from a single thread, aiming to make daily life more enjoyable. With a focus on the unique texture that cannot be replicated by new machines, they cherish rare looms that have been in use for over 40 years, employing their specialized techniques to create a variety of knit items.

Using knitting machines tailored to each item, TRICOTE produces a wide range of products, including stoles, socks, apparel, bags, hats, and various lifestyle accessories. For instance, the stoles are made using a Jacquard loom from Bentley in the UK that has been in operation for 40 years. Although it can only read paper data, they have modified it to read digital data to harness the unique texture that can only be achieved with vintage looms, showcasing their commitment to creating original fabrics that new machines cannot replicate.

Additionally, they create original cords using a lace machine that makes tapes and fringes, and for knitting gloves, they intentionally use modern knitting machines to ensure a good balance of shape and pattern. This unique approach to combining different types of yarn and knitting techniques illustrates the endless possibilities of textiles, resulting in a distinctive blend of technology and design in their craftsmanship.
