Started from an accidental encounter

Dansko was founded in 1990 in Pennsylvania, the U.S. When the founders, who were horse trainers, went to his hometown of Denmark to buy a horse, they found clogs in a small shoe store. The founders love the clogs, which are comfortable to wear. Then they went to Denmark to bring the comfy shoes back for my friends, and started selling them at horse fairs. Inspired by the clogs, they started the company after the 20-year improvement. Now it is known as Dansko, which means "Danish shoes."

Since Dansko's shoes are designed to reduce the burden on the feet and waist, they have been used around the world as a pair with excellent functionality and design. They are widely used in medical sites and restaurants as well. The shoes are recognized as "Easy-to-wear shoes" and "Shoes that support foot health."
