Just being there creates a landscape.
When I saw Nido's knitwear, I knew that because I knew the manufacturing background, it was because my thoughts were packed. Nido knits are hand-knitted, even if they are not completely handmade, while things with a certain presence often have the beauty, technology and creator's feelings of design. The machine was a knit made by gently knitting two needles back and forth in a wooden machine by hand and adjusting the power.
Nature grows naturally
CROP SWEATER which feels kindness in a simple design. Even if you don't pick up the body line, the knit that makes the wearer feel delicate and feminine feels like the back grows naturally through the sleeves.
If you like a relaxed style, go rough with wide pants or sneakers. When combined with a long skirt, it gives an elegant and gentle impression. Gentle stitches soften the overall atmosphere. Because it is 100% cotton, it can be worn from the beginning of spring to autumn. Please choose when you want to enjoy a light dress.
Looking closely, gentle stitches not found in machine knitting. At first glance, you can see how it is knitted little by little. In developed countries and Japan, knits worn by many people are mostly machine knitting, but Nido knits are adjusted by hand and knitted little by little, so it is finished in the day I say about ten.
Clothes coming out of mineral-produced machines promise a certain level of quality, while at the same time paying attention to things that are unique and those that are only there, and are likely to forget the compassion for a long time, Nido knits, which are knitted by hand, have small irregularities and a little personality, and remind us that many things in the world are created by human hands. It's a respect for the creator, and I think it's connected to fostering a feeling of value.
I arrived at my hometown knit
For example, sweaters, scarves, and gloves woven by mom. Lace knitting in summer. At one age, from childhood to adulthood, there was a time when everyone felt that handmade was noisy, but in 2012, Argentina reminded me of the warmth of old age It is a knit brand Nido born in.
The brand was founded by Julieta Racket, who grew up in Argentina's rich countryside. After learning her design, she knew she needed to create something more specific in her daily life, thinking about the people who used it, and came to her hometown knit. The knit of the hometown made with the craftsmanship and affection inherited in the land, sticking to materials that can live and feel with nature, was full of warmth reminiscent of a nostalgic hand-knitted sweater.
The warmth consists of time and effort from raw materials to production. The material is made of natural materials such as Argentinean sheep wool, llama, mohair, guanaco and linen, and the yarn is spun using a stepping spinning wheel. Was there. The warm colors are hand-dyed using natural dyes (South American plants such as tilka, cablob and mate leaves). The threads are hand-knitted (hand-weaving machine) and the final process is sewn one by one by the hand of a craftsman and shaped.
Continuing handmade beauty
With the careful manufacturing of handspan, hand-dyed, and hand-knitting, the Nido knit, which incorporates warmth in products that are not available in mass-produced items, has the kindness that you can feel when you pick it up.
We established a knitting school in Buenos Aires not only to convey the value of such clothes and the beauty of handmade products, but also to convey the knitting techniques that can be continuously knitted in Argentina. We hold various workshops on dyeing, etc. to learn about natural materials, and continue our various activities to pass on the warmth of knit from hometown to future generations by inheriting technology.
