Jackman is a factory brand that originated in Fukui Prefecture and inherited the soul of Mitsugu Tanabe, the founder of Tanabe Knitting. Although he was an employee of the Fukui Prefectural Office because of his longing for American baseball after the war, he quit his job by overcoming the opposition of the people around him and established a factory. It was a small business start with three flat knitting machines in one room of eight tatami mats.

American baseball that the founder, Mitsugu Tanabe longed for. At first, Mitsugu, who was a baseball enthusiast, manufactured only stockings, and then went on to manufacture uniforms and grabs. At the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, it has grown to provide training wear for the Japanese team. And that longing is inherited in the current manufacturing.

At Jackman's garment factory, which has been in operation for over 60 years since the days of Tanabe Giant and Small Works, in addition to modern sewing machines, machines such as Union special and REECE necessary for specialized sewing are also repaired in the factory. I use it while repeating repairs in the room. The distinctive specifications born from Tanabe's ideas have been completed in the long history of the brand.
