Nido's CROP SPRING SWEATER / CORN has a cute rough knit. A refreshing knit that can be worn in the spring and summer. The color named "CORN" is, as the name suggests, a bright and refreshing yellow like corn. The hem is curled up and the sweetness that can be felt from the simple shape is just right. It is a knit brand Nido that was born in.

The brand was founded by Julieta Racket, who grew up in the natural countryside of Argentina. After she learned design, she thought she needed to create a design that was more specific in her daily life, thinking about the user, and she arrived at her hometown. It was a knit. The knitwear in my hometown, made with the craftsmanship and affection of the craftsmen who live and feel with nature, is full of warmth reminiscent of old-fashioned hand-knitted sweatshirts.
The warmth consists of time and effort from raw materials to manufacturing, using natural materials such as sheep wool from Argentina, llama, mohair, guanaco, linen, and spinning yarn using a foot-spinning wheel. I was there. The threads that are made are knitted by hand (hand-woven machine), and the final processing is sewn one by one by the hands of craftsmen.

In addition to conveying the value of such clothing and the beauty of handmade products, we established a knitting school in Buenos Aires to convey the techniques of knitting that can be continued in Argentina. By holding workshops such as dyeing to learn about natural materials and passing on the techniques, we are continuing various activities to pass on the warm knitwear that is handed down to our hometown to future generations.
