ZUTTO's autumn/winter season began with the cotton wool pintuck shirt. What has newly arrived is a denim skirt you'll want to reach for on walks during this comfortable season.

Tucks and slits that create rhythm

The key feature of this skirt is the large tuck at the center front. It's a design point we added so the skirt wouldn't feel too plain. Since we want you to wear it every day, we've made the width generous for easy movement, but by adding this tuck, we've kept the overall volume in check so the whole skirt forms a beautiful silhouette.

The back hem features a fairly deep slit, creating both ease of movement and a relaxed feel. It makes walking easier and adds movement to the silhouette when viewed from behind. Dark-toned skirts can easily look flat, but adding this kind of movement gives the silhouette a gentle, flared finish.

A waist that's cute even when shown off

We intentionally made the waistband a bit wider. With elastic waistbands, the look can tend toward overly relaxed, but making it wider brings out the design.

Why it can be worn all year round

Although this skirt is an A/W item, we designed it with the intention that it could be worn in every season. The denim used has a weight of 10oz. "It feels softer and lighter than regular denim, and the fabric naturally stretches as I walk, making it easy to move in. The elastic waist has no tight, constricting feeling, and I could wear it at whatever height I liked, even styled a bit high-waisted. The fabric isn't see-through at all, and when worn at the normal waist position, the hem falls about a fist's width above the ankle. The A-line silhouette is really cute."
