【ZUTTO Original】The best of both worlds—natural and synthetic fibers. A long-sleeve inner T-shirt made from two different materials.

A long-sleeve inner layer is essential during the cold season. It's a reliable item that softens the scratchiness of sweaters, but what people look for in a winter inner layer—texture, fit, and so on—varies depending on personal preference and purpose.

With that in mind, we created a long-sleeve inner T-shirt from two materials with different characteristics, hoping to expand your options. Since this is an item you can choose according to the top you're layering it under, the change of seasons, or how you plan to spend your day, we'd also recommend picking up both.

This is a piece we're truly confident in, and we especially want to recommend it to those who have simply chosen an inner layer out of necessity until now, or who have given up on comfort for the sake of warmth.

✔︎ A classic design you can wear for years to come

Before we introduce the materials, let's start with the design details we focused on.

We chose a simple crew neck style that's easy for a wide range of people to wear. The neckline is set a bit wider so it won't show through the top you layer over it.

▲ANGEL WOOL Bear Interlock(CHARCOAL, model height 160cm)

▲Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji(GREY, model height 160cm)

Rather than an inner layer that fits tightly against the body, we designed a silhouette with a bit of ease. You can relax and wear it without feeling constricted.

We've also incorporated small details for improved comfort, such as flattening the seam allowances at the underarms and armholes with stitching so they don't feel bulky, and leaving off the name tag from the start. The fabric care label has also been designed so it can be easily removed later.

✔︎ The key is choosing the right material.

For this project, we chose two materials: "ANGEL WOOL Bear Interlock" and "Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji."

Both are hybrid fabrics blended from natural and regenerated fibers, designed to add functional benefits that compensate for the drawbacks of conventional natural fibers. The result is an inner layer you can wear regardless of the season.

【ANGEL WOOL Bear Interlock】

This fabric uses a hybrid yarn named "ANGEL WOOL," as reflected in the product name. The yarn has a double structure: an ultra-fine 18.5μ shrink-resistant wool core wrapped in viscose rayon. This lets you enjoy the characteristic warmth of wool while experiencing the softness and smooth touch of viscose against your skin. Both wool and viscose are also highly moisture-absorbent, so the fabric resists that clammy feeling and helps you stay comfortable while regulating body temperature.

【Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji】

This fabric is based on regenerated Tencel fiber blended with cashmere and silk. Tencel is a regenerated fiber made from wood pulp using an amine oxide-based aqueous solution, and is also known as "refined cellulose fiber." Tencel is excellent in moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, making it comfortable to wear year-round. It's also known for its soft texture, and blending it with cashmere and silk further enhances the fabric's feel and softness.

✔︎A Thorough Comparison of the Two Materials

Both are items we can confidently recommend, but you may find yourself wondering which material suits you best.

So, to help you find your favorite, we've put together a thorough comparison of the two long-sleeve inner T-shirts.

Point 1: Differences in Knit Texture

【ANGEL WOOL Bear Interlock】

The fabric has a soft, smooth feel against the skin and a beautiful sheen. It retains wool's warmth while reducing the scratchiness often associated with wool fabrics.

Being an interlock knit, it stretches well and has excellent elasticity, giving it a comfortable fit that seems to move naturally with your body.

【Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji】

This is a smooth, plump-feeling fabric. Compared to jersey and similar knits, nashiji fabric feels somewhat thicker, giving it a reassuring quality even though it's thin. It's made using a rare knitting machine capable of producing this delicate nashiji texture, giving the plain surface an elegant quality.

Another feature is that it's a strong, well-stretching material. It has good recovery, springing back to its original shape, so it resists losing its form.

Point 2 Color Tones

▲From left to right: Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji (WHITE), Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji(GREY), ANGEL WOOL Bear Telco (GREY)

We compared the three pale-toned colors. Even though it's labeled the same "GREY," the ANGEL WOOL Bear Telco version has a slightly beige-tinted grey. It's a soft shade that blends nicely with the skin.

Point 3 Sheerness

With these three pale-toned colors, one thing you might worry about is whether your bra shows through.

▼When worn over a light-colored bra

▼When worn over a dark-colored bra

With the Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji (WHITE), a light-colored bra may show through faintly.

With a dark-colored bra, some sheerness was visible with both the Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji (WHITE) and (GREY), but the ANGEL WOOL Bear Telco (GREY) showed no noticeable sheerness.

✔︎ Summary of the comparison

▼Angel Wool Bear Telco is recommended for those who

keyword "Beautiful sheen" "High moisture absorption" "Excellent stretch"

▼Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji is recommended for those who

My favorite isthe "Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji Crew Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt"

"I have very sensitive skin, so choosing winter innerwear has always been a struggle for me. Until now, I'd used cotton items year-round and layered up to get through the cold winter months, but when I tried the Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji this time, I finally found the right answer!"

"The fabric doesn't catch on the skin at all, and there's no stiffness at the seams, like under the arms or at the armholes, so it's extremely comfortable to wear. In comparison, the joha long-sleeve innerwear I tried was a bit tight, with a strong fit around the arms and chest, but this one has just the right amount of ease and stretches along with your movements. I love how comfortably it fits the body."

My favorite isthe "ANGEL WOOL Bear Telco Crew Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt"

"I don't have any particular skin concerns, so I've mostly chosen synthetic fabrics for winter innerwear until now. But I always wondered about having to replace them every year. So while I was looking for a long-sleeve innerwear I could keep using for a long time, the ANGEL WOOL Bear Telco Crew Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt arrived."

"The moment I put it on, I was surprised at just how comfortable it felt. It made me realize that I had actually been putting up with less comfortable wear all this time."

▲Bottom: ANGEL WOOL Bear Telco, Top: Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji

Compared to the Cashmere Silk Bear Nashiji, I also liked the more relaxed sizing. It has just the right amount of sheen too, making it great as innerwear you can show off. Even if it peeks out a little, it doesn't look much like innerwear, giving off a refined impression.
