When the neckline changes, the mood feels lighter too. Introducing a new pullover with a skipper collar to our lineup.

Standing in front of the mirror choosing a top, sometimes a high, snug neckline just doesn't match your mood for the day, or you want warmth without the bulky, overstuffed look. After going through winter after winter, it seems there are more and more days when warmth alone just isn't quite enough.

When we thought about what kind of clothing looks naturally lovely without any effort, what came to mind was a pullover with a skipper collar. With the collar opening just enough, it brings a bit of brightness around the face—a piece that lifts your spirits a little just by putting it on, whether you're heading out or spending a quiet day at home. With that grown-up feeling in mind, we shaped this pullover to be exactly that kind of piece.

✔︎ Here's what we focused on

The ZUTTO original cotton dense-knit tenjiku (dense jersey) skipper-collar long-sleeve pullover was tailored for those who would rather choose something that fits naturally into daily life and can be worn for years, rather than being swept up by trends.

The firmly knitted tenjiku fabric combines a reassuring sturdiness with softness, giving a gentle, settling feel the moment you slip your arms into the sleeves. Details like the small slits on both sides and the cuff design don't get in the way of everyday movement, and they blend naturally into the season when layering increases.

1) Tenjiku fabric: 100% cotton with a satisfying thickness yet still soft. It can be worn on its own without any worry of show-through.

2) Cuffs: Made of stretchy rib-knit fabric, designed so the sleeves won't bunch up even when layered under outerwear.

3) Slits: Though small, they ensure plenty of ease of movement, making the piece comfortable even in the season of heavy layering.

Here's what our staff had to say.

Because the neckline looks so neat, even on days when I'm just wearing simple denim, it still looks put-together and gives me a sense of ease. The way the skipper collar opens up is elegant, and in winter I also like layering a thin turtleneck underneath. Even when layered, it doesn't feel bulky, so I stay comfortable all day.

On our 163cm staff member, the length reaches just to the hips, and the sleeve length covers a bit of the back of the hand. It doesn't cling too closely to the body, giving just the right amount of ease.

(163cm, female)

On a busy morning, you can reach for it without a second thought and it will never let you down. We hope this skipper-collar pullover can be that kind of presence in your wardrobe.

A piece with softly gathered sleeves and a cute picot-finished hem. Combining cashmere and silk, it achieves both warmth and style.A high-neck versionis also available.

ANGEL WOOL bare-telco crew-neck long-sleeve T-shirt

This one has a slightly more casual feel. It's a highly stretchy material, but it's cut with enough ease that it doesn't cling too closely to the body, making it a good choice for those who dislike a tight, restrictive fit.
