Lithuania is a small country on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Northern Europe. It has long been known as one of Europe's foremost producers of top-quality linen, and "Lithuanian linen" spun there is cherished not only across Europe but around the world. It was in this very country that MagicLinen was founded in 2015.

The brand's origins trace back to the personal experience of its current CEO, Vita Murauskiene.

Since childhood, linen has always signified something special to her.

"I still remember my grandmother laying out table linens before our large family would gather. It always gave me a strange, wondrous feeling, as if something special were about to happen. When I redecorated my own home, I wanted to recapture that feeling, but I found there were very few color options available, and nothing that seemed to suit a modern lifestyle."

She began making a few original bedding sets of her own, and that was the spark that led to the founding of MagicLinen. It was the lack of color options for creating a space to one's own taste that ultimately led to the brand's creation. Knowing this origin story makes MagicLinen's colorful linen items feel all the more endearing.

Today, the brand has expanded into a wide range of linen products for the home, kitchen, and clothing, and has become beloved by many people, especially across Europe.

Each product is handmade, one at a time, in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

Completing a textile (fabric) involves numerous stages, and at every one of those stages, the product is tested for harmful substances; only fabrics that pass every test can receive this certification. SETTO is a Japanese brand based in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture—an area renowned as a center of jeans production—dedicated to making clothes that feel wonderful to wear. It's produced by Japan Blue Co., Ltd., a Kojima-based textile maker known for supplying materials to brands both in Japan and abroad.
