Both are easy to walk in, but if we had to divide them by scene: chausser is great for walking to work. It pairs well with suits and is comfortable enough for walking, so it makes a good sandal to switch to from pumps during summer commutes.

2. Easy on and off with hook-and-loop fasteners

This is one of the reasons I chose it. Every part that looks like a buckle actually has Velcro hook-and-loop fastening on the underside, so you can easily put them on, take them off, and adjust the fit. The fact that they look neat and polished without compromising on ease of wear makes them a great recommendation for anyone who struggles with sizing.

Also, if you go looking specifically for hook-and-loop-fastener sandals, it's rare to come across ones this stylish and well-made, so finding them felt a bit like a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. The leather used is calfskin—considered one of the finest leathers available—which was another point in their favor, since it looks great with light summer outfits.
