fog linen work is popular at ZUTTO every season.
Even though linen is a material that works well in the colder months,
there's nothing like wearing it light and breezy in spring and summer.
We've gathered fresh, breathable items perfect for the linen season.
We're also introducing special orders available only at ZUTTO.
[Special Order] Oise Linen Pants, 8-Length
These are fog linen work's classic pants,
a special-order 8-length series made by shortening the standard Oise linen pants.
This spring/summer brought two new colors: Bleu Marine and Jen.
Bleu Marine
"Bleu Marine," a navy with a strong blue undertone, is a color chosen
so it can be worn outdoors depending on what you pair it with.
It's also nice that you don't need to worry about see-through fabric.
Jen
The window-pane check on a white base is exceptionally cute.
This one seems especially suited to wear as loungewear.
It has a fresh, breezy feel that's perfect for spring and summer.
The Oise Linen Pants, 8-Length, are shown here on a model who is 158cm tall,
with the hem falling just around the ankle.
A waist tie lets you adjust the fit to be just right.
With comfortable ease through the hips and legs, this is a shape and design
we recommend for a relaxed style.
[Special Order] Linen Wide Pants
Compared to the Oise Linen Pants, 8-Length, above,
these wide pants are a bit shorter and flare out at the sides.
As they widen toward the hem, they give
a stylish impression reminiscent of a long skirt.
The elastic waistband makes them
easy to put on and take off, and easy to move in.
They come in two colors: navy and black-and-white stripe.
They also have pockets, so they're practical whether
worn outside or as loungewear.
Paired with lace-up shoes or heeled sandals,
these are items that will suit the coming season well.
[Special Order] Rea Sleeveless Nightshirt, Half, Navy Stripe
Although it's called a nightshirt, we hope you'll wear it outside too.
It looks cool and refreshing worn alone, or paired with jeans or leggings.
The new navy stripe color is a calm, grown-up shade.
A slit at the neckline and just the right amount of openness at the collar add a touch of elegance.
The rough, rustic character of the linen gives it an even more stylish air.
[Special Order] Linen One-Piece
With a collar added, this one-piece gives linen a polished look.
A single button and a tuck at the chest mean
the design doesn't just fall straight down, but cinches in nicely at the waistline.
A tuck is also added at the back, designed to show off
the beautiful texture of the linen.
We've made the front shorter than the back
so it balances nicely when worn with leggings or pants underneath.
It comes in two colors: a natural shade that suits linen well, and a gray-white stripe
with thin stripes on a gray fabric.
[Special Order] Michael Bag, Bleu Bleuet/Ruby
Linen bags are light and thin, which makes them handy when you have a lot to carry.
This Michael bag has a simple construction with no pockets,
and its wide-opening top with generous gusset gives it more capacity than it looks.
It's also reversible, in blue and pink.
"Bleu Bleuet" isn't a single solid blue but rather a color that looks like
a fine check thanks to the white weft threads,
while the pink on the inside is a bold, eye-catching shade.
The contrast between the two colors is lovely, and glimpses of the inner color
can become a nice accent to your outfit.
The material is made by sewing together two layers of thin linen fabric.
It's soft and easy to hold, and the way it softens
and changes shape once you put things inside is part of its charm.
Though it's a large size, the thin fabric means
you can roll it up and tuck it inside another bag.
We recommend using it as a gym bag for clothes and shoes,
for carrying supplies to a class, or as a market bag
for everyday shopping.
[fog linen work: Perfectly Suited to Everyday Life]

fog linen work is
a Japanese brand that introduces items for everyday linen use—
wear, kitchen items, bath items, and more that fit naturally into daily life.
The linen used is sourced from Lithuania.
Everything from the harvest, extracting the fiber, spinning the thread and weaving the fabric,
to cutting and sewing the fabric, is done at a partner factory in Lithuania.
The colors, patterns, and designs of the fabric are
all original to fog linen work.
Lithuania is one of the three Baltic states, located to the south of Finland.
The climate, with hot summers and cold winters and large temperature swings, is well suited to growing flax,
the raw material of linen.
The techniques for making linen products, passed down over many years, are still very much alive in Lithuania today.

【Coordinating Items】
ao・Balloon Sleeve Pullover
A cotton pullover with a pleasantly worn, washed feel.
The outer side is woven from a fine-yarn gauze,
while the inner side uses
a coarser slub double gauze, giving the fabric a different texture and sheen
on each side — a distinctive feature of this piece.
Woven using irregular slub yarns, the fabric has a slightly uneven texture,
giving it a unique character.
STEFANO CONTI Linen Skipper Shirt, blue
A shirt that is entirely Italian-made, from sourcing the fabric to sewing.
Details typically found on dress shirts are brought into this casual shirt,
and the beauty of its silhouette, which looks sharp worn on its own,
truly captures the essence of Italian shirtmaking.
Fileuse d’Arvor Short-Sleeve Cut-and-Sew TRISTAN
Fileuse d’Arvor was founded in 1927 in a port town in northwestern France.
To increase durability and ease of movement,
the neckline is cut as a slightly wider boat neck, and at the shoulders, where strain tends to concentrate,
the front panel is extended around to the back of the shoulder and sewn there,
a design touch that shifts the seam away from the point of greatest strain.
VEJA・EAW2001 Leather Sneakers
VEJA is committed to transparent manufacturing that is visible to both producers and consumers,
creating sneakers that are simple, clean, and beautifully functional.
The upper is made from vegetable-tanned acacia leather,
and the cotton used for the insole and other parts
is organic cotton grown in northern Brazil.
With their simple, clean-lined design, these sneakers
also pair nicely with skirt outfits.
gaimo Turban-Design Espadrille Sandals BLK
gaimo is a footwear brand specializing in espadrilles.
The Turban-Design Espadrille Sandals BLK
feature a ribbon-like design made from layered fabric
and a slim strap, making for a feminine pair of shoes.
Although the heel is a fairly high 9cm, the wedge sole and a highly cushioned
insole make them comfortable and easy to walk in.
PATRICK STEPHAN 【Exclusive】3-Way Leather Pochette enveloppe GREY
Carried by its short inner handle, it works as a handbag;
with the strap attached, it becomes a shoulder bag;
and with the strap removed, it can also be carried as a clutch — a versatile 3-way bag.
This practical bag, which offers a variety of uses and looks in a single piece,
is sure to see plenty of use no matter the season.
