Stuffed Animals to Love for a Long Time

Hello, I'm Floppy the rabbit.

I was born in Germany.
I'm from Senger, a long-established stuffed animal brand, and
I'm introduced on ZUTTO as the "Floppy Animal Rabbit,"
and I'm quite proud that I'm often chosen
as a gift for children.

Ever since I came to the ZUTTO office,
I've sometimes appeared as a supporting character on product pages like this one,
so maybe some of you have seen me before!
Besides rabbits like me, there are also bear and horse friends.

But lately, I actually have a small worry.

It's that I'm bothered by dust and dirt on my body.

Since coming to the ZUTTO office, I've taken part in photo shoots
and been loved and pampered by the staff for comfort,
so I've been leading busy days and haven't had much time for body care.

But even so, I can actually take a bath (in other words, be washed).

Before taking a bath, I carefully check
the ZUTTO page where I'm introduced.

・The material: the outer fabric is organic cotton, and the inside is made of alpaca and llama wool.

・If it gets dirty, it can be washed whole.

・For hand washing, please use water below 30 degrees Celsius.

・Fine fibers may appear on the surface of the product's fur.

Including me, all of us at Senger
are made using organic cotton grown at contracted farms in Peru,
free of pesticides and unbleached.

What's more, no chemical dyes are used,
and the makers have thought it through so that it's safe even if children put it in their mouths.

Not just for me — when you're going to bathe
any precious stuffed animal friend, please be sure to read its instructions
carefully first.

If it's a stuffed animal that can be washed with water,
I recommend using a detergent made for delicate garments.
This time, I'm using THE LAUNDRESS's
Delicate Wash.
LAUNDRESS's lovely scent is part of the appeal too.

Dissolve a household laundry detergent in water and whip it into foam,
making it like a bubble bath — and you're ready.
Being careful not to rub the surface too much,
gently press-wash it and that's all you need to do.

And now, fresh out of the bath.
Soaking with a splash really does feel good, doesn't it.

Since my belly is now full of water,
I have someone gently press a towel against it to soak up the moisture.

The dirt is gone and I feel refreshed.
So that even the inside of my belly dries properly, in a well-ventilated shady spot
I lay a towel down, lie on top of it, and take a nap right there.

Or, you can hang a towel with clothespins,
sit on top of it, and hang it like a hammock —
that dries well too.

On the first bath, some fur might fall out a little,
or it might get a bit fuzzy, or shrink slightly,
but for us, being able to get clean by taking a bath is something we're truly grateful for.
Even as we gradually fade in color or become worn and soft,
it makes us happy because we can feel that we're being cherished.

How did you enjoy this feature
on stuffed animals to love for a long time, brought to you by Floppy the rabbit?
Whether it's caring for the stuffed animal you already have at home,
or giving a long-lasting companion as a gift to a child whose birthday is coming up soon —
I'd be very happy if you found some hints here for treasuring the bond with your stuffed animal.

Senger has many other friends too, so let me introduce them.

A bear from the same Floppy Animal series.
This bear, which makes you want to give it a big hug,
is the most popular in the stuffed animal world.

This one isn't just cute — it also soothes you with "sound."
It's a music box doll. A rather unusual sheep.
When you pull the heart attached to its belly,
"Brahms' Lullaby" plays.

※Please note that this one cannot be washed with water.

And perfect as a gift for a child is
the stuffed animal pouch.
Putting candy or toys inside the horse's belly
and heading out — how cute is that.
