First: A Little Extra Step When You Start Using It

If you want to keep your bag as clean as possible, applying a fabric waterproof spray beforehand can help prevent it from losing its shape or getting stained in the rain. It's also convenient because it helps prevent dirt as well. On the other hand, if you'd rather enjoy the fabric's natural texture as it changes over time, it's better not to use the spray, since it coats the surface of the fabric.

*Before using the spray, always test a small amount on an inconspicuous spot first to make sure there's no adverse reaction.

Daily Care You Can Do in 5 Minutes After Getting Home

・First, brush it off

Remove any dust or sand from your canvas bag with a soft brush so it doesn't have a chance to set in as dirt. Using a clothes brush (or a soft cloth), brush from top to bottom.

・For small spots you notice, try an eraser

Depending on the type of stain, gently rubbing it with a plastic eraser can sometimes remove it, so it's worth a try. However, be careful not to rub too hard, as this can damage the fabric.

・If it gets wet, such as on a rainy day

Wipe away any moisture thoroughly. Dry it promptly with a soft cloth, then let it air dry in a well-ventilated place, out of direct sunlight.

・Don't leave things inside it for too long

To prevent the bag from losing its shape or developing odors, avoid leaving items inside your canvas bag for long periods. Empty it out regularly and let air pass through to keep moisture from building up.

Rescue Care for When Dirt Bothers You

For stubborn stains, spot-clean with a neutral detergent that doesn't contain fluorescent brighteners. Dab at the stain with a soft cloth soaked in the detergent, then wipe it away with a firmly wrung-out cloth.

Afterward, always let it air dry in a well-ventilated place, out of direct sunlight. Just like with canvas sneakers, if detergent residue is left on the fabric it can cause yellowing, so be sure to rinse it off thoroughly.

*Bags that use other materials in some parts, such as leather or metal fittings, may be prone to color transfer, so please be especially careful when washing with detergent.
