The difference between loquat cotton and Takashima Chijimi is the twist of the yarn. Takashima Chijimi uses yarn that is twisted more strongly than usual, but loquat cotton is twisted even closer to the limit, giving it a drier feel.
Next, we use an air-jet loom that blows the weft to weave the hard-twisted yarn, but that work is also very difficult. It seems that it is not uncommon for it to shrink during weaving because it is tightly twisted.
