From the backbone of a fabric manufacturer, SETTO has been researching and developing high-quality cotton blends from various countries. We spin original yarns that match the characteristics of cotton from all over the world. The original yarn that maximizes the goodness of cotton leads to the attention and presence of textiles that change over time.

We are also particular about the manufacturing process, and we spin the cotton into thread to bring out the uniqueness of the carefully selected cotton, and adjust the rotation speed of a mechanical part called a cam in increments of 0.1 seconds to create a unique texture. Cotton is an agricultural product, and the quality of the cotton is uneven every year.

Partner clothes

SETTO continues to make clothes that are comfortable to wear, assuming that they will be used for a long time. It is a brand that has been developed since 2014 by Japan Blue Co., Ltd., a textile manufacturer in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, known for providing materials to domestic and foreign brands.

Kurashiki Kojima, which is now called the mecca of denim, was once an island in the Seto Inland Sea. The land reclaimed from the shallows became popular for the cultivation of cotton, which is more salty than rice, and the spinning industry developed. We have been working on school uniforms and jeans since before the war when the westernization of clothing began to progress, and after the war, through the American workwear boom and jeans boom, Kojima became a representative production area for jeans. Japan Blue Co., Ltd. has continued to make casual wear fabrics in Kojima, which has such a history. That is why we continue to create persuasive and valuable clothes.

The feature of SETTO is that the development of materials is also considered design, and we are particular about threads, fabrics, colors, and shapes based on the know-how gained from planning and selling textiles.
