Arne Jacobsen is one of the most influential Danish architects and designers of the 20th century. He is the father of Danish design who created the prototype of today's modern Scandinavian design. The chairs he designed, such as the world's first ``Ant Chair,'' which realized a 3-dimensional curved surface with an integrated backrest, the ``Seven Chair,'' with beautiful lines, and the ``Egg Chair,'' which draws a gentle curve that envelops the body, are still popular with many people today. A piece that traces his roots as a product designer, created before he started making wall clocks

In the late 1930s, Jacobsen made table clocks for Lauritz Knudsen, the largest electrical appliance manufacturer in Denmark at the time, following the success of large-scale projects such as the Bella Vista apartment complex.
This product was called a phantom table clock because it was discontinued after a short period of time due to the effects of the Great War. It is said that this work was a turning point for Jacobsen, who had mainly designed houses until then, and marked the beginning of many masterpiece designs that will go down in history.

ROSENDAHL formed a reproduction project team with the senior staff of Lauritz Knudsen to reproduce the phantom table clock. Obtaining a rare original product, faithful to its design, and adding excellent functions that match the present age, the phantom clock has been revived in the present age.
Equipped with LED light, movement sensor, snooze function, battery changed from 220V outlet type to 2 AA batteries. The alarm sound has also been specially developed.

At that time, Jacobsen was obsessed with the electronic sound of the alarm to the very end, but the technology at the time was not enough to create an electronic sound that could be accepted by human ears. Taking over that will, I made hundreds of sounds in the reprint project, and succeeded in creating a sound that would be close to his image, which Jacobsen could not achieve.

Created in 1939, "LK" was Jacobsen's first product design for Lauritz Knudsen, and it was a product that greatly influenced his subsequent works. Double-handed, it features a soft font that is conscious of privacy. The simple look goes well with chic spaces.
