The collection includes a wide variety of items, including ear cuffs, rings, bracelets, and earrings. This time, we will introduce some of the most popular items. Since they cannot be mass-produced, they will be made in the form of an order meeting, and only the amount ordered will be made.

This is an ear cuff that features a flexible shape that fits snugly against the ear. The wavy curves are beautiful from any angle, like a small monument, and have a strong presence. This is the first design created by 5/8 STUDIOS, and is the most popular signature item. It is also recommended for those who are choosing ear cuffs for the first time, as the calculated curve fits naturally on the ear, and is comfortable to wear while staying firmly in place and not feeling too much pressure.

The quality and origin of silver and gold used in jewelry is often unclear. Therefore, 5/8 STUDIOS uses materials that have been rigorously certified by the Japan Refine Metal Association.

Refine Metal is precious metal extracted from used mobile phones, computers, etc., and recycled into the highest quality jewelry. We value the cycle in which the tools that have supported our lives are reborn in new forms and become part of our daily lives. Now that environmental consideration is becoming a common value in the fashion world, 5/8 STUDIOS aims to do more than just create eco-friendly products. In addition to being sustainable, they create jewelry that brings out the individuality of the wearer by focusing on designs that will be loved for a long time and reliable manufacturing methods.

Like salt and pepper on food

5/8 STUDIOS started in 2020 in a room in an apartment in New York, making samples. Designer Fuki Sakai says that while designing clothes and accessories for apparel brands in New York and Tokyo, he realized how important the finishing touches of styling are. Whether or not you wear jewelry can make a surprising difference in the impression of your outfit. For example, a rough style of T-shirt and denim can be made much more sophisticated by adding a piece of jewelry and pairing it with high-quality shoes and a leather bag. Like salt and pepper sprinkled on a dish, jewelry adds the final spice to an outfit.

However, there are surprisingly few ideal pieces of jewelry in the world that can fulfill this role. This feeling led me to launch the brand.

As I continued to create jewelry while learning techniques at a jewelry studio in New York, I began to receive requests to purchase my jewelry, and so I started the brand in earnest. Having experience designing clothes and accessories, I was convinced that jewelry is not just an accessory, but is like "salt and pepper" that accompanies, enhances, and brings harmony to fashion. Jewelry is an extension of fashion design, manufacturing, and everyday life. It blends into each style and brings out individuality. I create such practical and modern designs.
