5/8 STUDIOS began in 2020 in a New York apartment, making samples. While designing clothes and accessories, designer Fuki Sakai realized the big impact that jewelry can have on coordination. Believing that jewelry has the role of adding spice to clothes, he realized that the ideal jewelry was lacking. This thought led to the establishment of the brand.

After learning techniques at a jewelry studio in New York, the brand got off the ground in earnest. The brand pursues practical and contemporary designs that bring out individuality while harmonizing with fashion.
