The collection includes a wide variety of items, such as ear cuffs, rings, bracelets, and earrings. This time, we will introduce some of the most popular items. Since they cannot be mass-produced, they will be made in the form of an order meeting.

This ring looks large, but it has a unique design that looks like two rings stacked on top of each other. The beautiful form is as if a plant vine is wrapped around the finger, and it is a simple yet powerful piece.

The quality and origin of the silver and gold used in jewelry is often unclear. Therefore, 5/8 STUDIOS uses materials that have been rigorously certified by the Japan Refine Metal Association.

Refine Metal is made by recycling precious metals extracted from retired mobile phones, computers, and other items into the highest quality jewelry. We value the cycle in which tools that have supported our lives are reborn as part of our daily lives. Now that environmental consideration is becoming a common value in the fashion world, 5/8 STUDIOS does not simply aim to create eco-friendly products. In addition to being sustainable, we are committed to long-loved designs and reliable manufacturing methods, and create jewelry that brings out the individuality of the wearer.

Like salt and pepper on food

5/8 STUDIOS started in 2020 in a room in a New York apartment, making samples. Designer Fuki Sakai says that while designing clothes and accessories for apparel brands in New York and Tokyo, she realized how important the finishing touches are to styling. Whether or not you wear jewelry can make a surprising difference in the impression of your outfit. For example, a rough style of T-shirt and jeans can be made much more sophisticated by adding a piece of jewelry and pairing it with high-quality shoes and a leather bag. Just like salt and pepper to finish off a dish, jewelry adds the final spoonful of spice to your outfit.

However, there are surprisingly few ideal pieces of jewelry in the world that can fulfill such a role. This feeling was what prompted me to launch the brand.

While continuing to create and learn techniques at a jewelry studio in New York, I started to receive requests to purchase my jewelry, and so I started a full-fledged brand. Having experience designing clothes and accessories, I became convinced that jewelry is not just an accessory, but is like "salt and pepper" that accompanies, enhances, and brings harmony to fashion. Jewelry is an extension of fashion design, craftsmanship, and everyday life. It blends in with each style and brings out individuality. I create such practical and contemporary designs.
