HOLMEGAARD was founded in 1823.The history of HOLMEGAARD dates back to 1823, when green colored glass tumblers were the mainstream, but Queen Henriette asked for the production of transparent ones, and together with Bohemian glassmakers, transparent glass tumblers and wineglasses were completed.Since that time, many artists have created works at HOLMEGAARD, which has received a royal warrant because of its high quality and is the place where Danish artists active in the world have followed.
