Customarily, Japanese sake is served in a porcelain vessel called Tokkuri. It is made in a handy size with a swelling shape.
KUTANI CHOEMON's sake serving vessel, Tokkuri, is designed by a Spanish designer, Jaime Hayon. He is well-known for a wide range of collection and work, including furniture, interiors, sculpture, and installation art.
Jaime's design for the vessel proposes the new way of viewing Kutani ware, which is traditional Japanese porcelain with over 350-year of history. The vessel with a unique pattern goes well on modern dining.
All the patterns are handpainted by KUTANI CHOEMON's artisans. It would be a special gift for sake lovers.
