Founded in the UK in 2008, BEAUMONT ORGANIC creates clothing using carefully selected materials and ethical manufacturing practices, all in pursuit of sustainable fashion and a sustainable future. In the year before launching the brand, designer Hannah researched the environmental impact of cotton cultivation, and with a thorough commitment to organic materials, every product now carries GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification.

The colors, as if drawing inspiration from nature's grasses, trees, and earth, come together in comfortable pieces that leave you feeling liberated. With boat necks and elasticized waists, plus ribbons and gathers, these garments make it effortless to feel feminine. A modern print inspired by the cut-paper artwork of the painter Henri Matisse. It's said that many of Matisse's paper cutouts expressed the natural scenery of the places he stayed, such as flowers from Morocco and birds flying across the skies of Tahiti. BEAUMONT ORGANIC has incorporated this sense of liberated, comfortable art into its designs, creating a mood that also evokes a resort feeling. The organic cotton used as material is grown in fields that have been free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers for more than three years. It's also grown using seeds free of chemical treatment, in rich soil maintained through crop rotation, in fields where weeds are removed by hand. GOTS certification guarantees where the cotton is grown and knitted or woven, and ensures that no pesticides, chemicals, or GMO seeds were used in production. The certification also guarantees that workers involved in production are paid a fair living wage.

For clothing, the brand considers the fabric, resources, and production process to be the most essential elements, offering garments that are not just beautiful, but that also carry the story of how they came to be—instilling a sense that "this is doing something good for the planet and for people." Production takes place at factories in the UK and Portugal, which the brand regularly visits to inspect. It works to maintain good working conditions, pay wages befitting the quality of the work, and build good relationships with its factories.

BEAUMONT ORGANIC also donates 1% of its annual profits to Niusawa School in Taveuni, Fiji. This is the school where designer Hannah actually lived and taught, and she remains in close contact with the teachers and children there to this day. The donations go toward scholarships that help children attend school, as well as uniforms, transportation costs, and tuition.
