Elegant drape

A suspender skirt is a skirt with straps attached at the shoulders. The grown-up suspender skirt ZUTTO aimed for this time features a design with a slightly sweet touch, with gathers at a wider waistband and tucks throughout. It can completely transform the impression of an outfit, whether paired with a shirt or a simple T-shirt.

We chose "gabardine fabric"

The fabric uses high-quality cotton produced entirely by Vardhman in India. Vardhman's yarn retains the natural goodness of soft cotton along with the oils inherent in the cotton itself. To make the most of the material's own inherent quality, the cotton is hand-picked and spun with great care and attention.

The gabardine fabric used in this skirt is knitted at high density from this yarn and given a light water-repellent finish. Gabardine fabric is characterized by its crisp texture and beautiful sheen, along with a pleasantly smooth touch. Its color has a wonderful depth that shifts subtly depending on how the light falls on it. By using carefully processed cotton, the fabric achieves an even more supple, beautiful drape and a smooth texture. It is a fabric with such quality and beauty that it is also chosen for suits.

In addition to the water-repellent finish, this fabric also has a pollen-guard treatment, making it another happy point that it resists dirt, dust, and pollen and is easy to care for. What's more, it can be machine-washed at home and resists wrinkling, so it's a skirt you can wear with confidence regardless of the season or occasion.

Until now, whenever a customer's cherished item broke, we've worked with the maker as much as possible to establish a repair process, but when it came to clothing, we hadn't reached the point of offering a ZUTTO original service. However, now that we've set up an in-house atelier for making clothes, "clothing alterations and repairs" have become possible, and we've decided to launch this as a paid service for our customers.
