This time, ZUTTO designed a coat for those moments when you want to head out with a slightly casual look. Because it's outerwear that naturally draws attention, we made no compromises when choosing the material. It has an adorable silhouette with a hood, made from a distinctive and interesting cotton-like nylon fabric. This material holds back the slick, glossy texture typical of nylon, resulting in a coat with the calm, crisp feel of washed cotton—both in appearance and to the touch. The "Onivege Nylon Hooded Coat" comes in natural, nuanced colors. Its two shades—a soft beige and a navy as rich as denim—reveal, each time you look closely at the fabric, an exquisite sense of color balance. You might wonder: natural colors from nylon? How is that possible?

The reason behind these natural colors lies in the pigments used to dye the fabric: fig and ai (indigo), respectively.

The Onivege Nylon used for this coat is a hybrid material—synthetic fiber dyed with the help of natural pigments. For this collection, ZUTTO selected two colors dyed using an original blended natural dye: a synthetic dye based on quercetin extracted from onion skins, combined with the colors of fig and indigo respectively. The refreshing, cool touch characteristic of nylon paired with the natural pigments of fig and indigo might seem like an unusual combination at first glance, but the exquisite, nuanced color that results is truly wonderful.

Sweet, rich, and full-bodied, it is said—according to one theory—that the fruit of the tree of knowledge eaten by Adam and Eve in the Old Testament was, in fact, the fig. It stands as a symbol of abundant harvest.

A navy with the depth of denim. Ai (Japanese indigo) needs no introduction as a beautiful blue dye. Used across the world since ancient times, its history stretches back as far as the Indus Valley Civilization around 4500 BCE. Its calm, deep hue carries a distinctly mature elegance.

The rich, layered pigments held within the leaves, stems, and roots of plants.
