A note on the material

This is carefully knitted 100% cotton tenjiku fabric, with the same yarn used for the rib knit at the cuffs and hem. The name "Maharani cotton" refers to a hybrid cotton developed using cutting-edge biotechnology from the finest extra-long-staple cotton, grown in the rich soil of the Deccan Plateau in southern India. Using cotton with long fibers gives the fabric surface a beautiful, refined look, and spinning it into extra-fine yarn before knitting produces a delicate, gentle texture.

Because the fabric has a high degree of whiteness before dyeing, it's also known for beautiful color depth (GREYISH BLUE).

The high content of natural cotton oil gives the fabric a smooth touch and elegant feel.
