On days when rain or low pressure brings my mood down, I wear one to relax my body with zero tightness. Or when I want to look put-together but need to get ready in an instant.

This time, ZUTTO has made an organic cotton dress meant to be reached for on exactly those days when you want to treat yourself kindly. ■ As easy as a T-shirt, a wardrobe staple

This is a simple design that lets you dress casually, like wearing a T-shirt dress. The beautifully elongated silhouette sways at the hem, finishing with a sophisticated, adult impression.

For a pleasant wearing experience, we were particular about the material and chose hand-picked organic cotton. It's a jersey fabric knit from finely spun Indian organic extra-long-staple cotton with a natural sheen—gentle to the touch, yet with a crisp texture and body. It also releases smoothly from the skin, making it a refreshing choice as we head into the rainy season.

The appeal lies in its moderate stretch that moves with you, so there's no stress when wearing it.

Kind to the environment, too

This fabric comes from an environmental project called "PBP YARN PROJECT." It's an SDGs initiative in which a fund is attached to products made with Indian organic cotton; proceeds are used to support cotton farmers in India as they transition to organic farming methods, and to support the education and scholarships of farmers' children. The everyday act of "choosing clothes" becomes part of this project's cycle, turning into support that helps sustain a richer planet.

For those of shorter stature, layering with a dress can sometimes be tricky, but we designed the balance so that anyone can enjoy layering. Both BEIGE and CHARCOAL are calm, understated colors that are easy to combine with pants or leggings you already own.

■ Details we were particular about

The design's key feature is the seam construction running down the front center and back center. This line has the effect of making you look poised and upright.

It doesn't feel plain even worn alone, and since it's understated, you can also enjoy pairing it with accessories like necklaces.

We've added unobtrusive seam pockets on both sides.

Both colors were chosen for being resistant to show-through. It's a comfortably thin, light wear, but being able to wear it without worrying about your undergarments showing through is another point that makes it easy to wear.
